“I loved my experience with Mandana during my stay in Vancouver last year, so much that I am still following her zoom classes twice a week, even after moving back to Montreal! Each class has a specific theme or direction (foundation, expansion, therapeutic,...) but Mandana also really listens to the needs of her students and adapts each practice based on the level of energy or the particular body parts that may need special attention that day. The practice routines are really focused on the students, and the small-sized groups are ideal. All classes are complementary and I felt that attending a few different a week provided the greatest outcome. I attended an average of 4 classes a week for a year and I could really feel the benefits of Mandana's yoga teaching on my body and mind. For the first year in a long time I didn't experience any back or knee discomfort (my two pet peeves), despite a high level of sollicitation from a not perfect working-from-home setup and lots more than usual hiking trips. The classes also helped me a lot on an emotional level, minimizing my general level of stress. Mandana's teaching focuses a lot on aligning postures with breathing cycles, as well as centering the mind with restorative postures, and this creates a huge sense of wellbeing at the end of the class.
