About Mandana’s Prenatal Classes

Lea, mum of 2: “I took prenatal yoga classes with Mandana while I was pregnant with Adrian.
She is very experienced and I would recommend her to any mummy to be. I really enjoyed my first-time experience doing yoga, on top of that Mandana also tailored her classes to my needs when my baby was breech.

She is bilingual French / English and offers small group (3-6 students max) classes in Yaletown.” ——————————————————————————————————
Margaux

ABOUT MY TRAININGS

After my first certification in 2010 as a registered Yoga teacher from UYM, I went teaching in several corporative studios, very challenging where 30 to 50 people were standing in front of you. Having been a facilitator for many years, the challenge was not about the numbers, but the specificity of student’s needs, everyone were challenged by their own body system, pattern and story. As a genuine teacher, you are looking to help everyone not just the majority. So many prenatal women were joining regular classes, and I felt the obligation to train myself to support them properly. Fortunately in 2011, I heard that a BC prenatal teacher was in town, and I jumped on the occasion to register and learn from her. The training was fantastic and surprisingly very close to the Iyengar methodology, well, I was more ready that I thought to be. Many years later I decided to specialize myself in therapeutic Yoga, and in addition I had a review of Geeta Iyengar Ji prenatal teaching and learning system. What I can say, Mummies to be are amazingly powerful, and even more after birth, I admire all of them.
